        I only recently discovered that I had basically done nothing with the Italy 2000 trip.  I also did not keep such an extensive diary in my Palm since I had no expectation of a website 15 years ago.

        I thought I could keep up with the Diarios now that it was on a website (since 2005) and the photos would be easier to handle.  That turned out to be too optimistic.  With traveling and trying to see all the sights, get my run in and enjoy a decent dinner (and have some fun,) it became more and more impossible.  I just gave up for the Germany trip in 2007, deciding instead to see everything while I was there and work on the Diarios when I got back.

        I decided that it was better to see, enjoy, and document the country while we were there and worry about the website when I get home.  That continued with our 2009 trip and am now working on posting pages to each of the trips sequentially.

        For those that really have enjoyed these missives, thanks and I'm sorry it was not possible to do them on a daily basis while traveling.
